Counselors are available to help students and parents who may have questions about selecting a program of study. Educational Planning Guide
The Educational Planning Guide is a publication that is printed each year to help students select their academic courses for the next school year. This publication is distributed to each student prior to course registration.
Course Registration Process
We cannot express enough how important it is to put time and effort into selecting courses that fit your desired career goals. The counselors will provide an overview of the Educational Planning Guide and important steps to completing both your paper copy of the course contract as well as your online selection. After school hours are also available for those with more specific questions.
Course contracts and supporting documents, as well as online selection, must be completed by the advertised deadline each year.

After School Office Hours
Counselors will be available to meet with parents and students from 2:30pm to 7:00pm on January 31 and February 1 and 2, 2023 for any questions related to course registration. Walk-ins are welcome, but appointments are preferred as wait times may be unpredictable.

Before submitting your contract:
- Did you sign up for AT LEAST 7 credits if you are an underclassman? Did you register for AT LEAST 6 credits if you are a senior?
- Have you chosen two alternate courses?
- Have you failed any courses? If so, do you need to register for that course in order to meet graduation requirements?
- If returning to CTC, applying to CTC, or applying for a Future Professional’s Internship or Co-Op, did you add a full schedule of CCHS classes to your contract in case your plans change or you are not accepted into your preferred programs?
