As high school counselors, we believe that student success is of utmost importance. Counselors aid in that success by serving as liaisons between students and parents/guardians, teachers, administration and community agencies. Many of our services are provided through individual counseling, mediation/conflict resolution, small group counseling, and large group instruction, providing students with the tools they need to be successful in their personal and social development, academic achievement, and college and career readiness.
The counseling department strives to provide students and parents/guardians with knowledge pertaining to available course offerings, post-secondary planning, entrance exams, financial aid and scholarship information, as well as community resources and current events within the counseling department.

Cornwall-Lebanon K-12 Counseling Mission Statement
The Cornwall-Lebanon School District K-12 counseling program provides a comprehensive system of support that facilitates the development of academic, vocational and technical skills, while cultivating personal attributes that ensure all students are successful, responsible citizens. The counseling program will realize this mission through maintenance of a culture of continuous improvement, providing a comprehensive system of support, building active partnerships that involve both parents and members of the community; and fostering a safe learning environment.
